Non-Surgical Minimally Invasive Facelift with FaceTite and AccuTite

AccuTite uses the same RFAL technology, but in a miniaturized format. It is, in practice, the precision “brother” of FaceTite: the same energy, the same principles of controlled heating and thermal monitoring, but the cannula and the external electrode are much smaller, allowing access to sensitive areas or difficult to treat by standard methods. That is why AccuTite is chosen where surgery would be disproportionately invasive for the problem to be corrected.

AccuTite excels when you want to treat small deposits of fat or loose skin in delicate regions: it improves firmness, reduces discrete “bags” and smoothes transitions without leaving visible scars. Due to the high precision, the energy is concentrated exactly where it is needed, and the recovery is, as a rule, rapid – a few days of edema and, possibly, minor bruises that remit spontaneously.

Frequent indications include the upper and lower eyelids (for a subtle skin “tightening” effect), the perioral area (around the mouth) for fine skin with slight laxity, the nasolabial folds when the volume and sagging skin contribute to their depth, as well as fine corrections at the level of the chin and neck on small areas. AccuTite can also be used on delicate body areas such as the armpits or around the knees, where thin skin betrays early laxity.

The course begins with a detailed consultation and a personalized plan. The doctor evaluates the quality of the skin, the distribution of adipose deposits, the position of the support structures and your expectations. The possible results, the limits of the method and the recovery scheme are clearly discussed. On the day of the intervention, local anesthesia is applied (sometimes in tumescent solution for comfort and to facilitate the uniform transmission of energy). After disinfection and marking, one or more punctiform incisions are made through which the cannula is inserted into the subcutaneous plane. The doctor moves the cannula in a controlled manner on parallel paths, monitoring the temperature both internally and on the surface, to reach the safe therapeutic “window”. Radiofrequency energy liquefies small fat deposits and contracts collagen fibers, generating a visible tightening of the tissue. The procedure lasts, depending on the areas, approximately 30–60 minutes; at the end, small dressings are applied to the entry points and, sometimes, an elastic/compressive bandage for 2–3 days, especially when the submental and mandibular region is treated.

Typical recovery involves 3–7 days of edema and, possibly, discrete bruises. Most patients return to office activities in a few days. It is recommended to avoid intense effort and exposure to excessive heat in the first week, sleep with the head slightly elevated and careful local hygiene. The post-procedure check takes place at 7–10 days, followed by re-evaluations at 6–8 weeks and, subsequently, at 3–6 months to assess collagen maturation.

A discrete lifting effect is observable even from the first days, as the edema decreases and the initial contraction of collagen becomes visible in the mirror. However, most of the benefit is built progressively: the collagen fibers reorganize and new bridges are synthesized within 3–6 months, during which the skin acquires a better “fit” on the underlying support. For many patients, the results are maintained for several years (3–5 years on average), especially when supported by a balanced lifestyle, photoprotection and correct skin care. It must be emphasized that, although the effects are lasting, no treatment stops the natural aging process; what you get is a “reset” and a slowing down of the visible signs, not a “freezing” in time.
