What hyaluronic acid fillers do we use?
01. What fillers do we use?
Easy, effective, and versatile – our well-known collection of injectable hyaluronic acid fillers can solve a variety of problems. Whether you want to smooth out the signs of aging such as lines, wrinkles, and folds, fill superficial scars, or sculpt the lips, our experienced aestheticians have at least one filler that can help you look more attractive and rejuvenated – most often with just one treatment.
Our facial rejuvenation fillers are so popular because the treatments are quick and the results are immediate. The following options can be used individually or in combination with other non-surgical treatments:
- The Juvederm and Restylane range of fillers are the most frequently used by Dr. Hârceagă; both are made from hyaluronic acid and can provide a refreshment that lasts between 3 months and 1 year.
- Juvederm VOLUMA ™ XC is the latest hyaluronic acid-based filler from Allergan, specifically designed to restore a youthful appearance to the cheeks for up to 2 years.
- Juvederm Volbella is a filler specially designed for the under-eye area and lips, with an elastic consistency and increased remanence, differing from other fillers in its class due to the low amount of water it incorporates after injection.
- RADIESSE® contains synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres. It immediately replenishes lost volume and increases collagen production for continuous improvement.
- Sculptra® Aesthetic offers gradual but long-lasting improvements that can help you look younger by restoring a youthful appearance of fullness in areas such as the cheeks and around the eyes.
02. Which filler is right for me?
The best filler option for you depends on several different factors, which have to do with your skin type and the specific concerns you want to address. Dr. Hârceagă will examine your face, assess your concerns, and make careful recommendations that can lead you to the desired results.
Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are the most diverse category, available in a variety of viscosities and formulas. Typically, products are primarily used to fill lines around the nose and mouth and add volume to the lips. Thinner formulas of these products are usually best for fine lines. More viscous formulas can be used to add volume to the cheeks.
Collagen stimulators, such as Sculptra Aesthetic and RADIESSE, add volume immediately and stimulate collagen development in the treated area. Collagen stimulators are good options for adding definition to areas such as the cheeks or jawlines.
03. Are the injections painful?
Injections with fillers usually do not hurt more than other types of injectables. We use very fine needles for procedures, and most injectables are compounded with lidocaine to further reduce discomfort.
04. What is the difference between Anti-wrinkle Toxin and filler?
Both types of injectables are typically used to reduce wrinkles and diminish certain signs of aging, but they work in different ways. While fillers are used to add volume to wrinkles and sunken areas, the active ingredient in Anti-wrinkle Toxin reduces muscle activity that causes certain types of wrinkles, including so-called “crow’s feet” areas.
What is the cost of a hyaluronic acid filler procedure?
€250 / ml
The mentioned cost is an estimate, which may vary depending on the chosen surgical technique, the complexity of the case, as well as any additional procedures or investigations required.
The cost of filler treatment varies depending on the area you want to treat. Fillers are generally priced per syringe, and different areas of the face usually require a different number of syringes. During the consultation, we will provide you with an estimate of the cost of the procedure for you, so that you can make an informed decision. As a concrete example, 1ml of hyaluronic acid from the Juvederm Allergan Vycross range (the newest range of fillers produced by Allergan) costs EUR 250, a price that includes the labor and the product used.
