Liposuction in the face & neck
Are you disturbed by excess fat in the cheeks, chin and neck area? The face says a lot about you as a person. In many ways, it gives others a persistent impression of who you are, how you feel, and what you believe.
Diet and exercise can help many areas of the body, but nothing seems to diminish fat deposits on the cheeks, chin, jaw or neck. These areas do not usually respond to diet and exercise. There are cases when a careful diet and a routine dedicated to exercising do not decrease this persistent fat. Many women and men are appealing to facial liposuction as a solution.
What is facial liposuction?
The liposuction operation is performed to remove unwanted deposits of fat cells from the body. Liposuction was originally designed to give contour to the body. Your surgeon who will do the liposuction operation uses a special tube called a cannula. The cannula is inserted through a tiny incision placed in a slightly visible location on the face or neck. Using a suction syringe or a pump attached to the cannula, fat cells are extracted. The result is a remodeling of clogged surfaces in more attractive and youthful contours of the face.
In younger patients, facial liposuction is most often effective as a single procedure. In elderly patients, it can produce optimum results when combined with a facial lifting, eyebroal lift, eyelid surgery or nose operation. It is often performed together with chin implants or cheins to achieve better definition.
What is the price for facial liposuction.
The price is determined following a consultation but varies between 800-1800 euro depending on the number of regions treated.
Is the removal of fat with permanent effect?
Yes! After puberty, our body no longer produces new fat cells in a large number. When you take weight, it actually increases the volume of fat cells that we already have. Facial liposuction removes fat cells to improve the face’s contour.
If you take weight after facial liposuction, it will be stored in the fat cells that remain in your body. Localized fat deposits that existed before liposuction can no longer extend than proportionately to the surrounding areas.
Am I going to need a second procedure?
A single procedure is usually sufficient. However, some patients require a small adjustment procedure at a later date.
Is the facial liposuction right for you?
If excess fatty tissue on your face or neck bothers you, facial liposuction may be the answer for you. The doctor can help you determine which is the best treatment to achieve the desired results.
